Dr. Kandi Moller graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University. She graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1999 and is the recipient of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honorary Society.
Dr. Moller was inspired to enter the optometry field because she got her first pair of glasses in junior high, “the worst possible age to get glasses and when it wasn’t cool to have glasses like it is now,” she says.
Dr. Moller has been in practice for 17 years and she is a member of EnergEyes. Dr. Moller’s specialties include disease management, dry eye and contact lenses. She says that she “enjoys putting teens in contacts for the 1st time and seeing that smile, also retired patients who thought they were too old for contacts!”
Dr. Moller grew up in small-town Iowa and says she misses “the radical change of seasons and the fireflies and thunderstorms, but not the humidity or mosquitoes or ice storms.” Outside of work Dr. Moller enjoys playing Xbox video games and dabbling in crafts, sewing and painting acrylics. She and her husband also enjoy showering affection on their 10 cats, two big dogs and backyard chickens.
